Arc of Iris Takes Home Double Win from the Biagio Marini Competition

Exciting news! The ensemble Arc of Iris achieved great success at the 25th Annual Biagio Marini Competition, securing not only the second prize from the city of Neuburg (1,500 euros, presented by artistic director Xenia Löffler), but also the coveted audience award (750 euros), sponsored by the Summer Academy’s Friends Association and presented by its chairman, Andi Laukmanis.

Arc of Iris win three prizes at the Göttinger Händelfestspielen 2023

At this year's Göttingen Handel Festival, ensemble Arc of Iris won the "Audience Prize", the "Bärenreiter Urtext Prize", for which they received a music voucher worth 1,000 euros, and the concept prize "Music and Space".

The latter is endowed with 2,000 euros as well as two performances at the Cologne "Felix" Originalklang Festival in the Ursulinenkirche and a prize-winner's concert at the Händelfestspiele. In this category, the ensemble's spatial conception is evaluated with regard to the optimal use of the concert venue and the related programming.
